Community Alert Sirens
In the event of an emergency, warnings need to be issued for the purpose of protecting life and property. One option for such warnings is to use community alert sirens.
Any sirens must comply with the Emergency Management Victoria Policy and Guidelines. In particular the need for sirens must be identified and supported by the community, and assessed and approved, before being installed.
