Halls Gap Neighbourhood House

Halls Gap Neighbourhood House (HGNH) started life as Budja Budja Neighbourhood House supported by Budja Budja Aboriginal Cooperative in 2022.  The new organisation was established with its own Board ready to open in July 2023.  The Northern Grampians Shire assisted in finding a new home at the Halls Gap Hub 117-119 Grampians Road, Halls Gap with access to the meeting room and hall for activities.   The HGNH conducts First Aid, CPR and life style courses such as Gentle Exercise, Qi Gong, Writers group, Craft and Chat, Mediation, Birdwatching and much more. We also run a youth programs such as play group and school holiday programs.

Everyone is welcome to come and see what we can offer them and to help us to become a thriving social hub within Halls Gap.

Gentle Exercise

We can offer computer and internet use to community members during our opening hours, as well as a place to stop, have a cuppa and socialise with other members of the Halls Gap community.  A venue is available for community groups to meet.

Halls Gap Neighbourhood House staff are always open to suggestions on courses people would like to see run, please email us or call in.  We want the house to meet the needs of community members.

We are always looking for volunteers to help run our various programs and projects.  Call Alison to see how you can become a friend of the Halls Gap Neighbourhood House.
