The Halls Gap Community website is a not for profit program with ongoing funding provided (and overseen by) the Community Association of Halls Gap.

Content on this site must relate directly to the Halls Gap district and focus primarily on community and not for profit groups and activities or programs and news which directly affects,  concerns or would be of particular interest to our community. Please allow several days for your item to appear on the website – remember that we are all volunteers!

NOTE: At the website team’s discretion, some for profit events and related news articles may be listed, provided that they demonstrate a clear benefit or interest to the community and fit the principles for publishing.

A volunteer website team review all submissions to the website and will only publish content which does not contravene any the following principals:

  • Provides positive comment on Halls Gap activities
  • Uses appropriate language for general publication
  • Promotes community participation or well being
  • Promotes community focused events and activities

It is an expectation that anyone posting pictures or information to the website has the permission and copyright to do so.  The website team does not take any responsibility for publication rights or copyright infringement.  It is also important to note that once published the website team and contributor are no longer in control of the image, which may be copied or transmitted without permissions.
