Summer Brushes

Longerenong Agriculture College sets the scene for this five day artist retreat working under the instruction of professional artists in various medium and techniques, from traditional to modern. It is a learning vacation and a great way to experience extending your creativity. Longerenong is a 15 minute drive from Horsham in regional Victoria. It’s unique, remote location sets a perfect scene depicting the Wimmera’s summer landscape.

Our workshops take place on campus – all workshops and accommodation are fully air-conditioned! 

Summer Brushes offers fully residential or workshop only options upon booking. Summer Brushes is a five day program with half day non-teaching. It is highly recommended that you book early as numbers in workshops and accommodation are strictly limited.

The workshops will run Monday – Friday from 9am–4pm and Wednesday half day 9am–12noon. The workshop fee includes morning tea and lunch. The meals are professionally catered with fresh menu options daily. All dietary requirements can be arranged but you will need to add this detail in the booking notes upon booking.

Sunday from 7–8:30pm  will be onsite at Longerenong College. There will be a wide range of quality hand craft and visual art by the tutors and students participating in Summer Brushes. Buy direct from the artist!
